Next Goal Advisory is committed to transparent client relationships.

We believe clients make better commercial decisions when they understand who they are dealing with, what role we play and where our interests may sit. This page sets out the relationships and arrangements that may be relevant to an advisory engagement with us.

The advisers and founders associated with Next Goal Advisory may hold interests in, or have relationships with, other businesses. These may include marketing businesses, business broking activity conducted through a separate estate agency, and other commercial ventures.

Where a related business interest is relevant to the advice or introduction being discussed, we will disclose it so you can factor it into your own decision making.

Certain advisers associated with Next Goal Advisory, including Vaibhav Grover, also undertake business broking activities separately from Next Goal Advisory through an appropriately licensed estate agency. Next Goal Advisory is not an estate agency and does not act as a selling agent.

Where an adviser represents the vendor of a business being considered by a Next Goal Advisory client, that adviser represents the vendor in that transaction. In those circumstances Next Goal Advisory will not provide independent purchaser representation regarding that business.

The process we follow is: the client expresses interest in a business; we identify whether an associated adviser or estate agency represents the vendor; the relationship is disclosed to the client; transaction-specific Next Goal Advisory purchaser advice regarding that business stops; any further communication from the adviser occurs only in a separately disclosed vendor-representative capacity; and the client is directed to obtain their own independent legal, accounting, taxation, financial and other professional advice.

A general website disclaimer alone does not resolve this conflict. Disclosure is made in the specific circumstances, in writing, at the time the conflict arises.

Business decisions often involve expertise across several professional areas. Where appropriate, Next Goal Advisory may introduce clients to external professionals whose services may be relevant, including accountants, lawyers, finance brokers, financial advisers, insurance professionals, business brokers, marketing specialists and technology providers.

An introduction is not an endorsement or guarantee of the quality, suitability or outcome of any third-party professional service.

Next Goal Advisory may have commercial relationships with some professional service providers we introduce or recommend. In some circumstances, Next Goal Advisory may receive a referral fee, commission or other commercial benefit if a client engages a provider.

Where applicable, relevant commercial relationships and benefits will be disclosed in accordance with applicable requirements.

You are under no obligation to engage a provider introduced by Next Goal Advisory and remain free to select your own professional advisers.

Where a specific disclosure is required, it will cover the name of the provider, the nature of the relationship, whether Next Goal Advisory may receive a referral fee, commission or other benefit, the amount or method of calculation where disclosure is required, and confirmation that you remain free to select another provider.

Next Goal Marketing is a related business. Where marketing or implementation services are discussed, clients remain free to engage Next Goal Marketing or another provider of their choice. Any engagement with Next Goal Marketing is separate from the Next Goal Advisory engagement.

Next Goal Advisory clients are not automatically transferred to Next Goal Marketing. Where marketing or implementation work is discussed, the relationship between the businesses is disclosed so you can compare providers on their merits.

You remain free to choose your own professional advisers. An introduction from Next Goal Advisory does not require you to engage the recommended provider.

You may engage any accountant, lawyer, broker, lender, adviser or implementation provider you prefer, and we will work alongside professionals you have already chosen.

Information obtained during a Next Goal Advisory engagement is handled appropriately and is used for the purpose of providing the advisory services you have engaged us for.

We will not improperly use information obtained through an advisory engagement for the benefit of another party. This matters particularly where a client later considers a business represented separately by an associated business broker: information shared with us as your adviser is not used to advantage a vendor or another party in that transaction.

We cannot claim absolute confidentiality. Information may be disclosed where disclosure is required or permitted by law, or where you authorise it.

Next Goal Advisory provides business strategy, education, coaching and commercial guidance. We do not provide legal, accounting, taxation, financial product or credit advice, and we do not provide formal business valuations.

Before buying, investing in, growing, restructuring or selling a business, you should obtain appropriate independent legal, accounting, taxation, financial and other professional advice relevant to your circumstances.
